Leadership Philosophy

Much like trees, Leaders start as seeds. As they grow, they are shaped by their environment, experiences, and relationships. The tree’s roots represent a leader’s foundation; core values are defined, supporting the leader as they develop confidence and strength. The trunk represents their heart, their passion, and willingness to be of service to others as a leader.  The canopy of branches allows the leader to share their vision, while creating a collaborative, relationship-based environment that is open to a variety of ideas and perspectives.  Branches extend to welcome new thoughts, creating growth through new experiences while expanding the reach of the leader, and the teams and organizations they serve. As seeds fall, new leaders are planted and the tree as a leader works to coach and develop others, enabling and encouraging them to become their own best selves.

Leadership Principles

Five leadership principles define the values I hold myself accountable to, inform the culture I develop within my teams and guide how I develop the potential I see in others.

Be Courageous.

Dream big, be a pioneer, break the mold, make mistakes, be vulnerable. Admit when you are wrong, speak up about important issues and have faith in others.
